Has anyone heard of a condition where Yervoy (ipilimumab) causes the bone marrow to stop making white blood cells?  I need some quick help …

      Thanks in advance

I've never heard of it as a side affect but that doesn't mean it doesn't.

Your doc should be doing your blood work before every ipi infusion. One of the many things they look for is your white blood cell count. What does your doc say? Also it is your right to have a copy of your blood work report. Also if the doc sees this I would think they would postpone your next infusion until your counts get better.

There are things docs can do to improve your bone marrow and get your white blood cells up but postponing treatment is usually the first the first step when your blood counts are not right.
