Discomfort on knee

      My sister was diagnosed last year with melanoma Stage 1A. More than a week ago she presented discomfort in his right knee. She went to the doctor and they did an ultrasound, the doctor diagnosed her synovitis. She continued with the discomfort and went back to the Doctor for an MRI, and the result was that everything was fine, but he make her blood tests. Not sure why he made her blood tests.
      Could it be related with melanoma?

          Doing a blood test is extremely common. Some places I've had it I think they just wanted the few extra hundred dollars because it didn't seem like they needed it or even looked at it. Then other places like my regular doc I know they look at it and go over it with me.

          So why they wanted your sister to have it is hard to say. When was the last time they did it? If been awhile then that would be a reason. Another reason they would want to make sure everything is in the normal range is to rule out various types of conditions people get. 

          As far as related to melanoma the only blood number I'm aware of that is even remotely associated with melanoma is ldh and it is not very accurate most of the time. Did they even include ldh?

She has an appointment next tuesday.
