      Doctor decided i should get scans every 6 months after yervoy. Do people usually get ct scans or pet scans. Thanks

          Depends on where you get treated. CTs are good and I think most places do those. Some places, like UCSF where I go, do PET/CT combos.

                      Ditto with CT scans. I haven't gotten a PET scan yet, a year out.

                              My insurance company does CT scans the treatment team always recommends pet.  So I get what is available with my insurance.
