      If melanoma was on the lower lig which lymph nodes it will usually transmit for? Is it in groin area? Or it could be behind the knee? and what they usually feel like?

          It could be either.  More typical in the groin but behind the knee is possible.  One advantage with legs – easy to compare against the other side.  Is there something noticeably different between the sides?  That's what I'd watch for.

            My melanoma was on my left calf. I had my SLNB in my left groin. 3 positive lymph nodes. Never felt anything in my groin. Had recurrence of 1 positive lymph node in the same area many months later. Still, never felt anything, was only picked up because of a scan. So, you don't always feel something, but the groin would be the usual place.

              Mine was in right lower leg inch above ancle bone. SLNbiopsy was in the groin area
