I have been reading and studying but wanted some simple yes or no clarifications if y'all wouldn't mind!
Taf/Mek- targeted is only for BRAF/ MEK positve
Ipi/Nivo treats the entire immune system and should be used in BRAF negative patients and when Taf/Mek isn't working.
Keytruda is after all the above hasn't worked?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Blessings,
Shannon

Taf/Mek is targeted for BRAF positive patients.
Ipi/Nivo is a combo immunotherapy treatment that has the highest effectiveness rate of the approved drugs. Keytruda is an anti-PD1 drug similar to Nivo (Opdivo), and can also be a first line treatment optiont. If a patient is BRAF negative, they are given the option to start with Ipi/Nivo or Keytruda, either way can be a good choice. Even if someone is BRAF positive, they can decide to do Ipi/Nivo or Keytruda and may never need targeted drugs or may want to save trying targted treatment for if they ever need it down the line after trying the others first.
