      Hello everyone x

Just a little update. Mum had her firs yervoy+opdivo combination a couple of days ago. No side effects as of yet. Hope this is a good thing and does not mean that the treatment is not working.

Also, they will be giving her first SRS treatment in a few days since those mets in her brain are not behaving well

Hope you are all well xxx

I'm glad the first treatment went well.  I had SRS in conjunction with Nivo and the results so far have been good.  It does take some time for treatment to start working so don't be upset if you don't see changes right away.  Some tumors may swell before they shrink with the yervoy+opdivo treatment.  Good wishes to you both.

Keep us updated.  I know fatigue, and rashes were my top two side effect.  And i got my help and advise right here.  My scalp itched so bad i would sleep with coonut oil on my scalp or aloe vera, all did seem to help.  The fatigue tho, she might get pretty tired.  And m ake sure they test her thyroid.  I'm sure they are.  Ever 3 weeks beofe my next combo treatment my blood work was ran.  After the 2nd one my thyroid went wacko and I'm on medicationnow.  Still wacko,
