      I’m getting a sentinel node biopsy soon. Will I find out if it has spread to the nodes right after surgery or is there a wait?

          My surgeon originally said about 5 days but it actually took 2 weeks. My surgeon seemed just as surprised as I did to find out 2 our of3 of my lymph nodes were positive.

            It took about a week for me to get the results back on my SLNB.

              Seems as if the answer varies – I had my WLE and sentinel lymph node biopsy on a Monday and had the answer on that Thursday.
