I have multiple new pleural thickenings. No one is disputing they are mets. They are small. MDA recommended ipi/nivo (have been on nivo 2 years) because my disease isn’t “measurable” therefore I do not qualify for any targeted therapy.
HOWEVER my local onc offered this phase 2 trial. The IL-15 is subQ, nivo as usual. CA-ALT-803-02-17
Anybody have experience or knowledge?
Also running it by MDA onc.
Thanks in advance for any info!
Michelle

Hey Michelle,Sorry you are facing more treatment. I have not posted anything on the IL-15/nivo combo yet…as most things out were in petri dishes and mouse models…but many of those are promising…giving way to the current trials. You may have already seen it, but there is this 2017 report: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5774016/
This report was posted on human ratties in 2018 – albeit those with NSCLC – https://www.ascopost.com/News/58807
Perhaps someone on the forum has personal experience. Wishing you my best whatever path you choose. Celeste
