      Hello everyone 🙂

Your stories and advice are very helpful, so again I hope for the wisdom of the forum. A little background. Mom had a melanoma mole cut out in 2018. In March 2018, metastasis to the lymph node – it was also excised and prescribed opdivo. We went through 10 months of treatment and were interrupted due to a lack of medicine in the city.

All PET / CT scans have been clear since the removal of the lymph nodes (for 2 years), but 2 weeks ago the examination found 4 small lesions with SUVs ranging from 1.6 to 5.5 (1 lymph node, 2 soft tissue, 1 bone). We immediately passed LDH – 164. However, today new results came – LDH jumped to 581 in just 2 weeks.

How scary is it? Is this a very high level? I managed to read that a high LDH gives a negative prognosis for the effectiveness of immunotherapy – is this true? In the coming week, we should receive the first combo shot (Opdivo + Ervoy) and now we are worried that this reduces the chances for it success.

We also just noticed a postscript for the analysis:
"Blood hemolysis! The results may be unreliable."
Did anyone have this? We will redo the analysis tomorrow.
