Hi all! I’m looking for advice and experiences with bleeding brain mets especially after SRT. It’s very hard to find anything online. I had SRT for 4 small brain mets in March, recovered well until a week ago I started feeling very tired and during this week I had some suspicious headaches. Generally I felt different from the week before. I had a brain MRI yesterday and it showed 2 of the mets having hemorrhage inside of them and some oedema around them. My onc will call me on Tuesday so then I’ll get an expert opinion.Anyone been in a similar situation and how did it resolve?

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Update: had a chat with my melanoma onc and radiation onc and they both said it’s a possible effect of SRT because melanoma mets are very well vasculated and have a tendency for bleeding. With steroids I’m feeling almost normal, only after physical exertion I had some mild headache and felt a bit odd for a short while. My onc told me to avoid sudden efforts while exercising. In case nothing else comes up I’ll have a follow-up mri in a few weeks.</p>
