      Hi,

      We are looking for young melanoma survivors/patients in their 20s and 30s to share their personal stories at New England based High Schools and Colleges during our Your Skin Is In program aimed at keeping teens out of tanning beds.  If you are interested in volunteering in our Speaker's Group please contact me at [email protected] or 978-371-5613.  We'd love to have your help.  For more information about our Your Skin Is In program visit http://www.mfne.org/public/events/yourskinisin.php.

          Just a suggestion.

          You might want to look a bit further beyond the single purpose/narrrow focus  of tanning beds and youth and paint with a bit broader brush if  your purpose is really about melanoma.

          It's a part, yes, but be carefull about narrow  causitive  and singular definitions regarding melanoma because it will bite you in the ass every time in a clinical setting.

          It might be helpful to  granulate this as only part of your mission.

                      I agree with Charlie. I never touched a tanning bed.

                      I went swimming and had sunburns on my shoulders and neck every year as a child…Mr. Sun and his deadly rays are the major contributor to melanoma developing…that and the fact I have red hair, blue eyes, fair skin and freckles.
