      I called today and got in right away on Monday the 12th, will be seen by a melanoma specialist who has treated patients with ipi. Will have to travel 6 hours to get there but I am more at peace now with this decision. The Carbon Cancer center at UW Madison Wi. I could have gotten in on Thursday but need to get all my medical recods from 3 centers. Thanks to all on this board for all the good advice so far. will let you know how it goes when we get home.

                I am Unfamiliar with Dr McFarland, but everyone at the Carbone cancer center has been excellent to work with.  Good luck at your meeting with Dr McFarland

                                  I am so glad that you decided to go to another doctor. I am sure that even though the trip is so far for you, that you will get great treatment.How is your eyesight doing? Have you seen a Opthomologist? With steroid drops..you need to get your eye pressures checked…just my humble opinion. Best luck..keep us updated

                                      I am done with the prendisone drops and still do the other two, I had a very good eye exam but won;t be able to see himm on the 14th since I will be in Madison. will try to get in touch with him tomorrow. My pressure is good just my pupils wouldn't dilate.
