I had my SNN on my left groin last Monday. However, yesterday and today the area to the outer side of my thigh really feels bruised. Almost from the left side of where the incision was but not exactly touching the incision, all the way to the outside of my thigh, does this make sense? Has anyone had a bruising sensation a week after a SNB?

          Hi mitchwendy,

I had a major bruised feeling about a week after my SLNB and lasted about 2-3 weeks. My surgeon told me that this is almost bound to happen as we cut a few lymph nodes out of you. As long as the area looks like its healing well… then you will be fine ๐Ÿ™‚

thank you! I could understand it if it were closer to where the lymph nodes were removed, instead of being a couple inches over…. that sort of confused me…

Of course, I just had my follow up with her on Friday, then of course the bruising feeling started yesterday and today, lol

The good news is they removed 5 and all were clear!
