Initially…… T1aM0N0… 6 years later, all went to hell in a handbasket. There is a chance that the one removed was not the primary. There is also a strong chance that because it was not properly excised with clear margins the FIRST time (June 2007), it metastisized via the blood stream before the wide margin excision took place two weeks later (July 2007). But then, I also tend to fall into that unfortunate 5% of "… only 5% of patients will experience _______ as a side effect". Sooooooooo… if you had a reliable surgeon, you're more likely to have good results than we statistical deviants.
For those reading pathology reports, this is how the "TNM" diagnostic staging is done: http://www.mmmp.org/MMMP/import.mmmp?page=tnm_staging.mmmp

PS… Ignore the "prognosis" on that linked page, as I'm pretty certain this is OLD news and predates the current immunotherapy treatments.

We're all just doing what we can to survive. : ) I wouldn't change a thing. As horrible as the last few years sound, they've really had so much more positive impact than negative on my mental coping skills and general life attitude. I think I may have needed the karmic kick in the a**. :-p Plus, I enjoy learning, and this has certainly provided an enormous opportunity for THAT!
