Was a bit taken back by the brashness of your post. Amy was friends to many old timers and "newbies" here. As someone that has known Amy for years, it's so hard to believe that she is gone. She will be missed and touched the hearts of so many. May loving memories help her friends and family through this really sad time. MPIP sure has lost a wonderful Warrior.
God Speed My Friend! You've finally received your wings.

I'm sure it wasn't meant as brashness…..It is exactly what Cayla posted on Amy's facebook.
Amy instructed her to post " Chillin' with Jesus, no longer hurting"
It is what Amy wanted everyone to hear.
Not brashness…..just Amy's quick wit and a way to say, "I'm ok now and right where I need to be…Chillin' with Jesus.

God Bless you Amy Busby. It was indeed a long hard battle, and in the end you won!

It is funny how you can feel such profound sadness over the death of someone you actually never "met". I started coming to this community 6 years ago when melanoma reared its ugly head again. Amy was someone who stood out to me possibly because we are around the same age and both had small children. However, it was probably more because of her way with words. Amy was so to the point and exceedingly bright you couldn't help but be captivated by her posts.
Today is a joyous day for Amy. I'm positive she is chillin with Jesus. If anybody deserves that it is her. I wish her beautiful family peace and my sincere condolences that this lovely, beautiful, smart and witty woman was taken far too early from them.
Godspeed Amy!

i hate this stuff called melanoma…like some alien taking over your body…i didn't know Amy, but in reading her profile, she was a fearless fighter of mel and one smart cookie…and even though i didn't know her i feel like the grim reaper took 'one of our own'…i honestly think that anyone that fights that hard against the enemy should be honored as a hero…

Amy, may you guide us in the fight with melanoma as you did while living with it. Prayers for Dennis and the family. Amy and I were diagnosed around the same time and was such a help in learning what this crap called melanoma was. One day I hope to give her a big hug along with all our other warriors1
