Just wanted to post an updated. We FINALLY started the Taf/Mek combo yesterday morning. After 2 months of unknown we feel like we are doing something. We are hopeful, optimistic, and overall in good spirits. We need this to work, even if just for a short period of time. I started logging our medication and eating times. So far no side effects (wasn't expecting much after 1 day). We are starting the mornings with fresh juiced oranges and that seems to help her energy a little, plus it isn't just water which is what she drinks the rest of the day.
Thanks for those who are reading and giving continual support. Although this is just the beginning it is a huge weight off our shoulders knowing we could feel better in the next few weeks.

Glad to hear. She should feel better within a few days, not weeks.

Thank you, Mat. Yeterday was better then the day prior – I think it was more of a mind thing but I will take it. So far we have started with jokes so I have high hopes. As always, I appreciate you.

Getting going is great feeling! I am newbie here and am early in the process (just completed WLE and SLNB) and even that felt great to me after waiting two months to get going. Wishing you all the best and much success with this treatment!!

That is how long we waited, I watched my mom waste away it looked like! This morning I woke her up to take her 1st dose and she just looks at me and says "You are kinda pushy in the mornings" with a smile on her face. My response, if you want coffee in an hour take these. She gladly did. It is great to see the small smiles and jokes coming back. Hoping for the best and will thank of you as you continue on your journey. 🙂
