There's a "new" article addressing the possible connection between cancer and sugar out in Nature Communications. So, I thought I'd get a jump on it if any of you are interested. I've created a post (with some significant help!!!!) that includes information, opinion, a link to the article itself and links to two other articles discussing same!!!
Hope it helps and I hope all of you are having a lovely weekend!! love, c

Thanks for this. I think like you regarding diet, but I have grown more curious about the claims of a ketogenic diet, which they claim actually provides less glucose than your body would normally produce. You have to take a leap of faith to believe their claims though, because of the lack of testing them.

Some evidence that BRAF (but not NRAS/ C-KIT etc.) melanoma actually prefers fat to sugar, and that ketogenic diets promote tumor growth in v600e mutated pts — just ANOTHER CONFUSING WRINKLE THANKS SCIENCE. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2017/01/170112141359.htm

Hi Spl25, when ever an article doesn't have an author, it kind of makes me think that I shouldn't put much faith in it!!! Just saying!!!Best Wishes!!!Ed
