Was wondering if anyone else has experienced bumps in throat (like maybe squamous cell tumor). I have been on Zelboraf for 5 weeks and had some really hard side effects. Noticed a few days ago a bump on my uvula (spellcheck). I have a checkup appt. with oncology on this Thursday. I have had a lot of warts or bumps pop up on my face, back, and arms just within the last couple of weeks, also. Right now according to the last MRI I had, there is no cancer in the brain and the PET/CT showed minimal node involvement near my left armpit.

Jessebug, I am not on Zelboraf but on GSK's BRAF inhibitor, which is much the same. I too have had lots of warty-type lumps and bumps come up since starting although the rate at which they are popping up seems to have slowed. I think they are just part of the known side effects of the BRAF inhibitor. I haven't noticed any internally though so you might want to get onto your doctor about it. My own local oncologist wasn't too concerned about the ones I have, but I will be having a derm check next week when I visit my melanoma specialist, it would be good to have a few of them zapped off if I can as they are in spots that are getting irritated.
Hope your other complications settle down and you get some good results with Zelboraf.

Jessebug – I've only been on zelboraf about 2 weeks (had to take a week break due to horrible rash). I haven't experienced any of the warts/growths yet but I do know of someone that ended up with warts/something in the mouth and throat I believe. I know she won't mind – I put a link to her post about mouth growths from her blog.
Best of luck to you! Thougths and prayers your way! http://jenprayers.blogspot.com/2012/01/head-neck-and-throat-appt-what-is.html

Jesse – I've been on Zelboraf since April 8th. had some of the side effects, really quick and complete body rash that my oncologist resolved by putting me on 1/2 dose for 4 weeks. I'm now on 3 pills morning and night. I've had a lot, really a lot, of what my dermatologist dx'd as warts on my head, face, neck and shoulders. i thought they were moles. he froze about 20 last Tuesday. i haven't had any internally. the drug is saving my life. After being stage 3C NED in October, 2 weeks of interferon and high dose radiation in November i just kind of moved on with life. In march i couldn't take in enough air to blorw my nose. my lungs were full of small mets and a couple of larger ones (3.5 cm). now all the small ones are gone and the big ones have shrunk to half size. I'll have warts frozen off weekly if i can keep this up. best of luck to you with yours and hoping for full durable response.
