I've had my fourth infusion of Keytruda. Definitely working on the tumors, however, I developed a slight cold and now I am coughing up blood. And, of course, things always happens on the weekend. Anyone else cough up blood while on Keytruda. Also, seen an increase in my blood pressure. Anyone else?

No. I coughed up blood my first week of ipi but I think it was the continuation of the cancer as ipi didn't work in the end. My doctor said not to worry if it was less than a thimble full as it could be the drug working and stirring things up. But any blood from lungs should be reported immediately to your doctor. I definitely didn't cough up blood on keytruda.

Thanks. Waymore than a thimble full. My scans were done on Thursday and they were clear. But they said I might have a little bronchitis. So, I'm thinking perhaps a burst a blood vessel in my throat. I really didn't seem to be coughing enough to do that but maybe the Keytruda weakened my blood vessels.

I am not aware of this being a side effect, but it certainly could be related to a number of things or even a "side-effect" of a side-effect.
That being said, definitely contact your doctor to discuss as it sounds like its something that they may either need to look into or take action. Good luck.

Thanks. I have two oncologist. One in Texas and one in Arizona at the Mayo Clinic. Both of told me that I will now be more susceptible to colds and allergies. So, I have a cold and they seem to think that I burst some kind of capillary. Coughed up blood for three days! Unpleasant. But, the Keytruda is working! Currently NED! Thanks for your reply!
