Hi Family, just an idea, for those who can, let us create a "Flyer" of sorts, possibly created from your {our} computers and we can bring them in to our Oncologist and Infusion rooms/centers. That way we can promote our MRF MPIP page to our other Melanoma inflicted brothers & sisters out there needing help & fellowship!!  i have an app i bought & downloaded a while back, maybe i can create one and if anyone is intrested, i can email it to you so all you have to do is print copies!?..just an idear!…Mike ////PS; feeling good still except the body aches now & then, since my last Yervoy infuse on 8/10/18, im thinkin i made it through without anything major! well, except on day "6" after my First infusion, i posted about it, a week & a half no apetite, vomiting, headaches pure hell! i guess that was my Initiation haha…Mike..

          Hi mike!!!

I think that’s a great idea!!!!  When my son was first diagnosed I was so overwhelmed….it took me awhile to find this forum and I have been so glad I did ever since!!!!!! It has truly helped me to have other people to talk to that know and have been through similar experiences.

Glad to hear you are feeling better off Yervoy and can’t wait to hear how the Nivo goes!!!!!

          Kelly 🙂

Great idea!! We are so overwelmed right now and have no idea what happens next. We don't even have a stage yet… Just know Initial patholgy report says at least pT3a. I know that is not good ans surgeon was not too talkative about what he thinks.

Hi Mike, please don't take this as being sarcastic but there is a button at the top of the page left side "Understanding Melanoma" the MRF has many pages of specific advice, you could print off any of that material, already ready to go. Here is a link to what page looks like when opened. https://www.melanoma.org/find-support/patient-community/mpip-melanoma-patients-information-page

link didn't work, so you will have to take my word that there is lots of great information in the "Understanding Melanoma section."

Hi Ed, thanks for the heads up on the exsisting link here at MRF, I may have not worded  clearly of what my intensions are to create a "Flyer", in fact, its  to put it out there that we have a "community" of actual patients that are being treated and that they can post their feelings, questions in basicly real time with "reply's" as soon as a minute! and yes, like you mentioned, they will also see & hopefully visit links to understanding what our desease is and will do, treatments etc…Thanks brother..Mike

I now understand Mike, it must be the radiation to the brain again, at least I use that excuse with the wife when I forget to do stuff!!!      P.S. it usually doesn't work when I try it as an excuse!!!

Hi Ed! hahaha, i also use "Chem Brain" or Immunal Brain as a label to my either "Odd" or forgetful behaivor!

i actually made the flyer already, has our MRF logo up above, a lil paragragh in the center explaining what MPIP is all about, and, at the bottom, i put our Melanoma Awareness "ribbon"..looks great, ill bring some copies in to my Oncologist for her to give out…Mike

Mike, this is a great idea.  Could you post the link for the flyer?  I"d like to print it off and take it to my docs office.

If you can't post a link send the flyer to me at s a n u [email protected] (with no spaces of course) and I"ll see what I can do.

                          Thanks for thinking of this!
