Hello again. Thank you so , so much Bubbles and Cancersnewnormal for answering my previous question. I hope it is OK for us to ask eveyone another one following the earlier thread.

If doctors would not allow us to have SRS and Infusion ( yevroy+opdivo)  on the same day and we decide to postpone the infusion by one week, would be it be ok to delay it by that much in your learned opinion? In other words: if a patient is supposed to have the infusion every 3 weeks, would having an infusion a week later than planned (at 4 weeks) make the treatment less effective? Or in your experience it happens (e,g, someone is not feeling well, so must delay etc) and doctors are not concerned about it?

Thank you. You are amazing. xxx

There are a few replies to this question written under my previous question, if whoever is reading this is interested.

People here are great. We get so much more information than we do from doctors, sometimes.

Love to all of you xxx

You received good advice from MPIP "rock stars" on the last thread.  I've skipped or delayed many infusions. Take care of the brain mets first.

Great question, it might be difficult to get a specific answer, we do have data on patients that had to stop due to IRAE's with the combination mainly due to Ipi toxicity. Many were able to continue after steroid taper with Nivo every two weeks but a lot of oncologist don't like to continue Ipi. If I remember correctly the half life of these drugs is quite long, so missing a week shouldn't be a game changer. Bristol Myers Squibb has put an application into changing from giving Nivo every two weeks to giving twice as much every 4 weeks. I can give you some links about the  combination and duration but I don't have anything on specific question from your previous post.Ed
