My husband recently passed away from Melanoma. Although the Zelboraf did not work for him, he wanted to make sure the remainder of his prescription would go to good use, especially given the cost. Does anyone know of an organization that would accept the donation, and not resell it or charge someone for it? Thank you.

First off, I am so sorry about the loss of your husband. It is so kind of you (and of him) to want the remainder of his medication to go to others fighting this awful disease.
I cannot speak directly about the Zelboraf. However, when I got pregnant after undergoing infertility treatments, I was able to give my leftover medications (extremely expensive stuff) to my doctor. He would them give it to couples who could not afford them otherwise. You may want to talk to his doctor or the clinic where he was treated to see if they have a similar plan.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will contact his doctor. I was also going to ask the doctor if my husband's slides from his biopsies can be donated for research.

Hi ,
First I am sorry for your husband.
secondly, My brother did MI profile and he needs to receive Zelboraf or Taflinar. Actually my brother lives in Egypt and he does not has insurance so we can not afford the drug's price. Also the drug does not licensed yet in middle east. Do you still have the extra doses and I wonder if you could help me ? I have all medical reports and the result of MI profile that did in Caris life science Lab in USA. I spend last month searching for any financial assistance program for my brother but they only accept U.S resident .
Thank you so much ,
