A growing number of participants in clinical trials are sharing information about their health online. It's time that the drug development community starts to examine how this social media use might compromise the integrity of research studies and how it might also offer new opportunities.

Not sure how much this applies here because most of the trials for melanoma are not placebo controlled, right?

That is interesting. More people are using social networks right now, however, i personally think that we should limit the time we are using it. For example, i am using the spy expert for my children, to take control over snapchat and control the content they are watching!
