      Hello family

today we were going to receive our 7th infusion of pembro ,  and we have also had 2 doses of 1mg of ipi.  but when we got to the hospital Ezio ability to walk and his weekness was really bad.  The nurse called the doctor and they wanted to do a head ct to see if the brain was bleeding.  so no brain bleed but really bad swelling from all the brain mets.  We were already on 24 mg of dexamethasone. And it wasn't helping.  He also had a seizure while in the hospital.  They had admitted him to see what they can do.  But it doesn't look good. We are running out of options.

Looking for any advise or options.  Feeling really down ,  we really need a miracle.

      Elizabeth

Elizabeth, I am so sorry to hear this. Maybe now that he is admitted there will be something more they can do to alleviate the swelling and help Ezio get stronger. my prayers are with your husband and you of course.

Miracles do happen everyday.  Try to stay strong. I know easier said than done.  Xoxo

Hi Elizabeth, oh no! No no no no! Okay, deep breath! Like our member here at MRF (forgot who said it) just said, now that Ezio’s admitted, they can be a bit more “hands on” with testing, scans bloodwork etc. Im VERY faithful for the Yervoy (ipi) to work for him, we know its to soon to visualy “see” its progress (via CT scan) but it can start working by “Shrinking” the tumor within days/weeks hopefully! And that may help with his poor brain activity (weekness, siezures etc.)..God bless him! Were rootin’ for Ezio! Pleeeeeease!

Thank you Mike,   It doesn't look good right now. The MRI showed new mets and a bunch of the others gotten bigger.  There stopping all treatments and a wait and see if the ipi kicks in.

                              Hi Mike

Ezio is still the same.  Fades in and out of sleep. He is very restless at night. They say it’s the steroids.  He had another  siezure last night ,  the doctor says there’s still must be pressure on the brain.  We really need this to kick in and work.  Problem is he has over 50 brain mets.

But miracles and long shots do happen

                              praying every moment
