Hello, i was diagnosed with melanoma in situ in 2011 with no issues since.
I had a mole on my back forever which was dark but never changed or grew. A tiny 1mm or less dot grew above it ages ago but never changed . It wasnt attached to the original mole, it was max 1mm away from it. I didnt think anything of it and went on with my life. I got it removed as i worry a lot so just wanted it gone. Dr said hes not concerned but if i am to remove it. Quick google seach and im about to vomit as it says its a satellite mole with means stage 3 or higher. Im waiting for results back currently. Anyone had this experience? I was doing so well until reading this. Im 29 and now planning for the worst.
      Thank you

          Hi
You seem to have done what many of us do and referred to Dr Google which instantly leads to bad outcomes. Try not too worry too much. It sounds like your Dr isn’t too concerned, but get it removed for your peace of mind and get on and enjoy your life.
          Hope all goes ok

              Thanks Mark.
I had it removed which was on my back left shoulder, now anxiety has caused me to spend days poking my armpit lymph nodes which inturn has caused pain and swelling. I go from thinking i can feel a node to not feeling one. If it was swollen my stitches could be the cause as its so close. Eitherway i work as a veterinary nurse and i see so many people panic who dont need to so i really need to take my own advice.

Luckily it came back as an atypical mole, completely excised so theres that one gone!
                  Thanks Mark
