          Hi Bron,

sugar is an often discussed issue, not only in relation with cancer but health in general. After my spouse was diagnosed with Melanoma Stage IV I spent a lot of time reading about nutrition and cancer. The best books I've read were 'Anti cancer' by David Servan-Schreiber and 'Foods to fight cancer' by Richard Beliveau.

We have changed our diet drastically by

          – replacing sugar with fruit or natural sweetener with low glyx (as described in the book Anti cancer)

          – adding the ingredients of 'Foods to fight cancer' to our diet

          – lots of vegetables, fruit, fish, only wholemeal products (even rice), less meat (twice a week organic origin) and other animal products (soya products are a good replacement), no sugar, no white flour

          – buying local and organic food

          – and a strong believe that this will help fight the cancer

My spouse just had the 12 week scan. After a very dynamic progression during the weeks before starting Ipi, there are no new lesions and only a little growth in the existing, some visuals have even disappeared, some are slowly decreasing. We are now desperately waiting for week 16 scan.

          All the best,

          Jenny

                hi Jenny and thank you.

have ended up at the cancer council of NSW for the final answer.

HIGH blood sugar is bad for all medical conditions.

All sites recommed not taking high amounts of sugar.

Daughter is on a controlled Weight Watchers diet based on sensible eating, to lose weight so that should work well.

                very kind regards from bron.
