Unfortunately my immune system did kick back the melanoma after 4 combos and 2 mono nivos.  The liver and lung mets have increased in size and numbers.  Next week start zelboraf and cotellic, although oncologist not sure the response for braf k601n mutation. After that then I hope to qualify for either Tils or phase 1 trials.  The oncologist stated the phase 1 trials are like a shot in the dark. I hope there is light. I handed him a list of trials, if people have recent success stories, please list the trial number and experience.

My mom is doing Abraxane right now due to toxicities after 1 dose of the combo and 1 dose of pembro.  I did a post last week about the options that we are considering.

Hi David, I have a couple of links for you, the first one is Dr. Weber talking about targeted therapies at the Angeles clinic last fall. The second one is side effects and I would also suggest that you also look on Celeste Blog for more information.
