Don't get your hopes up. Melanoma is going to be around a long time. Too much money to be made with treatments. Its unreal what the cost of the stuff they have dumped into my blood. And we are still at it. I don't have the proof but any, any kind of treatment concerning cancer seems to be 25% higher than any regular medical care. I have the problem of options. Seem like they put several options in front of me and I, the patient, has to make the descion on what treatment, etc. I am stage 4 melanoma and its in spine and next to aorta. Treatment for this just started and I am finding it should have been radiated long ago. I guess it was my descion to allow radiation, but didn't know earlier how bad it was. No one told me!!!!
