Diagnosed melanoma, liver, bone and soft tissue metastases. I come from Slovenia, I am BRAF -negative. I'm being treated with Keytrudo up to now 4.x for 3rd week. I have unbearable pain in muscles and bones, is this normal?I can not walk alone, it's been 4 days. After the third dose of Keytrude, I was told that the markers have decreased and that this is a good result, what do you think

Hello Sonja, I am from Bulgaria. I know that immunotherapy might take some time to work, but decreased markers is good news. Scans will show better, are you having one? Keytruda can cause pain in the muscles and joint inflamation. Did your doctor prescribe you something for the pain? Good luck!!-

Thanks for the information, y hope really that Keytruda works for melanoma, only to make the pain disappear, only my legs are terribly painful. The oncologist prescribed the painkiller, but it does not help much.I have a scan of 9.4. before that, the 5th Infusion Keytrude. thank you all

Sonja,
If I am reading this right, you are saying you are having bone and muscle pain from the Keytruda. I too experienced that when I was on an Opdivo/Yervoy combo. My oncologist put me on a low dose prednisone that helped tremendously. You might want to check with your doctor and see if this is something that can be prescribed. Best wishes.
