I had a biopsy on my toe about six weeks ago, which came back as moderately atypical. I actually go tomorrow for further excision. But over the last 2 days, there has been a black growth developing on the punch biopsy sight. It's already as large as the original mole (5 mm). Could previously missed cells develop that quickly to melanoma?

Unlikely they are anything but moderately atypical — cells left behind regrowing. The biopsy (trauma) itself most likely caused them to grow but chances are, the cells haven't morphed into anything more serious. I will say that sometimes lesions look worse when they are growing through scar tissue. The pathologist would need to know that this was a previously excised site (most likely obvious and already indicated in the description).

In July I had a WLE for Stage 1A and there was a light brown small freckle that appeared on one of the placed the stiches were and it ended up staying. Another one of them disappeared but this one stayed. It was not dark, still light brown and small.
Friday I had it removed and the doctor used a punch type tool and waiting on biopsy results, hopefully by this Friday. This is a bit new to me and it makes me nervous because I have a lot of light freckles showing up around the site.
Mind you this is my stomach that has not seen the sun in over 2 decades so it is strange for freckles or moles to be appearing. I was never a sunbather so this sort of blows my mind – althought I played a lot of sports as a kid and spent a lot of time at the swimming pool in the summers
6 months ago we had our 3rd (and final baby) and new freckles or moles are appearing.
Should I get those removed immediately or take the wait and see approach? They do not look like the originial melanoma. Does it depend how close it is to the original site?
Would anyone have any advice on breastfeeding? I was planning to do it for a year but now I"m concerned with the recent article that it might be making my immune system more vulnerable and perhaps getting my body back to a 'normal' immune system state might be idea. As soon as I get her taking solids i'm thinking about weaning her and giving her formula. Suggestions?
Thanks,
