That's great! I often think about telling people i don't know that sth looks weird (on the beach for example), but i never do, because i don't know if i would offend them or scare them unnecesseraly, but have seen some really weird stuff so far…
Should I? Don't really know…

It's a real dilemma. I think if I knew someone well and could see something changing, I would definitely speak up. There's been a few times where I've wanted to say something but haven't, but two times I have. Once was my brother (who then went on to have a skin check and the exact same lesion I spotted was removed but luckily benign). The second was a masseuse – I saw something odd on her arm and eventually worked up the courage to suggest she get it checked out. It was awkward, though, telling that to a stranger. I would love to hear other people's views on this. On the one hand, we do have an above-average knowledge of what to look for, but on the other hand we're not doctors.
