      Hi MRF Family,

      I’m meeting my oncologist, Dr. Salama at Duke in NC tomorrow, but my results are in for my CT scan and they say no evidence of metastasis, so that’s officially 1 year NED since my surgery was January 2020.

      It’s been a wild year, with COVID and everything else. I ended up having 5 surgeries from November 2019 to September 2020, the last surgery being unrelated to cancer (pilonidal cyst, that was NOT fun).

      Anyway I hope you are all fighting the good fight and being nice to yourselves.

      You have all helped me so much throughout the last year or so. I don’t post often enough, and I feel just terrible about Mike’s passing. I contemplated not posting at all, but I think Mike would bitch at us for moping.

          Thats great news Peadar! I’m so happy for your NED! It gives me encouragement as I had my followup PET scan 1/4/21 since starting Keytruda 8<i>/25/20 </i>and results were:

          1. Partial response to therapy with complete metabolic/volumetric response to some lesions and excellent partial response in the residual lesions.
          2. Resolution of left lower lobe pulmonary nodule.
          3. No new metastatic disease.

            Congrats, Peadar!!!  Enjoy!  And, yes.  You are right on point, I think, about Mike, so thanks for sharing.  Sorry about your difficult 2020.  May 2021 bring you peace, joy and far less difficult adventures!  Celeste
