Hello everyone,
i have posted about my father a few days ago (http://www.melanoma.org/find-support/patient-community/mpip-melanoma-patients-information-page/zelboraf-failed-now-moving) and wrote about that his 2nd dose of opdivo was delayed because of low lekocytes. Turned out i wasn't low leukocytes but his blood test showed he is low on albumin and is now getting an infusion with human albumin tomorrow instead of his opdivo dose.
Has anyone experienced this? Is it something to be worried about?

One more thing:
Does anyone know if Nivolumab+Ipiliumab Combination is still a possibility after getting Nivolumab Monotherapyfor some time? Would that also work or does this combination only work when started combination with the first dose?

Usually the ipi nivo combo only happens with untreated by ipi or nivo. However some doc's and insurance have made it happen.
As far as that albumin thing might want to consult a nutritionist. Most hospitals have them. Not sure if just something as simple as a multivitamin can keep him up but they might know.

Artie,
thank you for your answer. While i know that the combination therapy usually starts with 4 infusions of nivo+ipi together i am wondering if the combination would also work if ipi is for example given together with nivo as recently as with the 4th or 5th dose of nivo. Like, if nivo monotherapy does not work good (or fast) enough would it be beneficial to add ipi to the therapy?
