Has anyone else experienced pain in areas where tumors used to be? Did you do anything about it?

Hi, im Mike, good to meet you, i cant say iv had pains in prior surgery areas (assuming your saying way after area has healed??) I hope this stops for you!!
I noticed in yer bio you, like myself, have tumors in the ol’ lungs? ..Mike

I haven't had pain in area where tumors used to be.  I had multiple subcutaneous tumors as well as kidney, lung, adrenal gland, brain.  Those are all gone now and no pain where they used to be.  I did have some pain when the subcutaneous tumors started showing up as well as bruising.  The old "melanoma likes to clot and it likes to bleed" story.  At least that's what the team at DFCI said.  I only had surgery on one brain tumor but once the incision healed there was no pain.

          Good wishes to you

          Jennifer

Thanks Jennifer — this answers my question. I have areas that were affected by melanoma 18 years ago that my immune system is suddenly deciding to inflame, along with multiple leasions that PD-1 killed and dont show up on pet. It's weird to say the least.
