I was originally diagnosed in 2008. Lump in groin node showed up on PET July 2012. Wound up having node dissection at MD Anderson in October. Pretty good news, only one node out of 28 positive. Back on wait and watch.

Thank you for your encouragement.I pray I am as blessed. Mass is egg shaped and rather hard so keep imagining black hardened  cells–I feel fortunate that I  was seen hours after I called and PET scheduled in 2 days.I am anxious to know where I am whether it is good or bad.

Strange as it may seem ,my prayers were answered. After 5 years,I expected the worst

so to say I am happy that the femoral lymph gland lit up and I only have a couple on my lungs and liver

may sound even stranger.I will have biopsy on nodes then see what happens.I only had surgery  on my foot before and

later removal of some groin lymph nodes.I decided not to have interferon treatments. I haven't been on here for years but

love the support that reading all the posts and stories gives me.Prayers for all
