I think is the melanoma as growing in the horizontal way in the skinn. Spreading superficial has a better diagnostic then vertical way. But the most important is de breslow thickness.

Superficial Spreading melanoma is a type of melanoma.  SSM accounts for about 70% of all melanomas.  Other types are nodular, acral, lentigo maligna along with other rarer varieties.  Typically a pathology report will call out the melanoma type.
