I was considering relocating to another state.  however I'm on study treatment  ipi/nivo and it looks like it will be on going. For as long as it works…   That being said has anyone been able to transfer treatment.  My doctor said I'm not going anywhere but I would like to explore possible alternatives.  Thanks all

If it is a multi-site trial that you're on, and if there's a different site close to where you're moving to and you ask to switch, it seems like they ought to be able to do that.

In my current trial there are 5 sites. I discussed with the clinical trial coordinator what would happen if I were to move back east (where another trial site is) and it sounded like it would almost certainly be doable. Likewise int the trial I almost got into before my current one, it was supposed to open up first in Arizona. That's a ways away from me but they were supposed to be opening up additional sites later with one closer to me. My doctor didn't seem to think it would be a problem to transfer me from the AZ site to the loca one.

I don't know in what cases they would not allow it. But in the two scenarios for myself, it seems like transfer to another trial site in the same trial would have been doable.
