      Hi,

      I  just found this forum & a newbiew. I am still learning how to post & learn how to do my profie.

      I have been on this Merck  PD1 drug since  Jan. 2012 just like Margo,who posted  that this drug stopped working for her. Needless to say, I am concerned  that this drug only works for a limited time and then stops working.

      It would be helpful if other  people taking Merck PD1 would post their experience/response with MERCK PD1 drug.

          Sorry that you had to join this board.  My husband is not on the trial but I just wanted to let you know that if you put the drug into the search at the upper right of the main page and search it may help you find others stories more quickly.

                      I hated to post last night that the Merck drug stopped working for me, as I was do hopeful after reading such good reports on here and meeting others benefitting from the drug. I actually think I am an anomaly. My tumors shrank 20% after the first round, stayed stable through second round, then grew slightly, then this last scan showed new adrenal mass. Maybe it was the gamma knife before the trial that stimulated my immune system temporarily as it seems most people responding have a long response. Don’t give up the hope – any of you on this trial! It wasn’t the right drug for me, but this whole class of drugs is so promising. Good luck!
