I’ve had a brownish stain looking thing under my toe nail for a few weeks now. I thought I had bumped it on something. Three days ago I noticed a small brown spot under my skin on the bottom of my toe. I’m not proud to admit I cut into it about an hour ago. I was hoping it was a blood blister but there was no blood. Just this little hard brown thing that seems to be in the bottom of my toe. There isn’t any pain. But Google keeps bringing me here. I am not sure what to do.

It's a bruise. Don't hurt yourself to investigate. Toe nail bruises are very common and take about 6 months to grow out.

I had a toe melanoma on my big toe. I actually didn't see it, but I had a freak occurance where my toe nail broke and didn't grow back (it cracked in the middle while golfing, which is pretty abnormal). Most toenail melanomas look like streaks and are generally pretty dark.
It's likely a bruise however you should just get it checked out. Many melanomas don't have pain, so that's not a big deal. As for the bottom of your toe – it's likely unrelated, but if you're in a derm's office already, it won't hurt to get it all looked it.
Good luck!

I had this happen to me. I had a vague memory of bumping my toe, but it wasn't some memorable severe pain or anything. Then a huge bruise appeared a day or two later. I was scared, but I noticed it was growing out. It took nearly a year. You might not even need to go to a derm for this. A primary care doctor could probably tell you if it's a bruise and it's easier to get an appointment.
