      Hi all, my father was diagnosed with Melanoma two years ago this past August and died eight months later. I live in the Atlanta area and I am searching for a specialist for my own skin exams. I have not been to the Dermatologist at all since his death, and I need to find someone I can trust. I live in the northern suburbs of Atlanta but will travel anywhere within reason. Thank you for any and all advice.

          My dermatologist is Dr. Stephanie Gardner at Dermatology Center of Atlanta, which is located on Medlock Bridge (141) in John's Creek. I've been seeing her for the past 1 1/2 years and find that she is very thorough in the exams.

                My husband (prior melanoma in situ) has been seeing Dr. Marcus Stonecipher (Clairmont Road in Decatur) for 15 years. Dr. Stonecipher has a large melanoma practice and is very knoweldgeable and reassuring. I highly recommend him.

                      I use Dr. Damian Dhar @ North Atlanta Dermatology. He is a great doctor I would highly recommend him as he has been great with my melanoma diag and treatment and sending me to excellent specialist and oncologist for further treatment. I see him every three months. I wish all my doctors where as personable as him.
