      Why not just make it mandatory to set up a profile to place a post to stop all this spam?  Allow all to read with out a profile.  Once a profile is posted log the IP address and if they post spam, block the IP.

                You do have to set up a profile to post. They just get around it.  But no moderator is around to delete it.

                                  Bummer. I thought he new robot check box things and stuff they put in recently would work.

                                  Stupid spammers it makes no sense why anyone would want to do this to a site focused on us suffering from such an awful disease. Totally baffles my mind.
