Hi!
The treatment for stage 1b is just surgically with the WLE and Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy, if SNLB is positive to melanoma, then a Sentinel Lymph Node Dissection, it does not have any adjuvant therapy by the moment. Presence of ulceration or mitosis greater or equal than 1 mm 2 is what make the different between stage 1a and stage 1b if breslow depth is no more than 1.0mm thick.
By the way the checks depends on the Hospital / Specialist/Country usually is from 3-12 months for the first 5 years, then at least once a year.
Where was your primary ? Do you have the patology report?
Keep positive!

Hi!
My sister also had a primary like your but was on her center left clavicle, her breslow was 0.6mm mitosis less than 1, she is stage 1a. When you was diagnosted? Both have a good prognosis just keep positive! How often do you have your checks? Did you have a SLNB?
Thanks for your fast replay to and welcome to write me!
