      Hey to all you warriors…

Had a scan on Friday…showed "mild progression". Went in for my weekly treatment today, thinking I would be out of the trial (especially when I didn't get called for a blood sample). Took my vitals, and then met with my OC.

Although there is still progression, he said I could finish out the cycle, if I wanted to and we would make a determination after the next scan on the 6th. Of course, I said let's go for it.

Trying to get to Virginia to see my new grandson…trip planned last week was canceled because of my Shingles outbreak (which are clearing up nicely). Now it looks like the second week of April. At least the weather should be nicer.

Take care all and keep fighting.

      Nick

              Hey Nick,

Hoping next scan shows that maybe this was only pseudoprogression and you get to continue on with this treatment! Good news about getting down to VA to see your grandson…that will probably do your soul a lot of good! In my prayers Nick.

Hay Nick, long see no time, sounds like my story lately, accept the "Mild" word you used..my 1st scan after #4 Pembro revealed all my thousands of tumors {in lungs} getting bigger {wtf?}, smaller {yay}, staying the same size {yay?}, some disapeared {yay} one got lost but found its way back in, and Oncologist said i grew "2" new ones {yixe!},,Hopefully like you & another teammate said it can be that Psuedo-progression but, in my case im hopeful. I believe you used to take Pembro & jumped on the Yervoy bandwagon? that will be my next option my Onco said, assuming my next bag of Pembro doesnt do anything magnificant, ill do the combo Opdivo/Yervoy…Somethings gotta give here, shes talkin' IL-2 {Interlukens-2} for a 3 week stay at a Kaiser 100 miles away from me, but lets not get me riled up about that…Hope ya make it to see yer grandkid, i just became a grandpa myself!..You take good care Nick, yer Warrior Brother Mike…
