      Hi Everyone,

I’m hoping someone here will be able to shed some light on what is going on with my skin. I have a very large number of moles, these have never changed until this last twelve months. It’s a very strange thing that’s going on, the number of moles that I have has erupted and I’ve literally sprouted hundreds of tiny freckle sized moles just about everywhere. The colour of my existing moles has lightened and I’m left with what I can only describe as a dark core at the middle of them. This colour draining isn’t just one mole but quite a number of them. The dark that remains in the middle is the colour that the rest of the mole was before.

I’ve been to see a dermatologist who wasn’t overly concerned with any moles except one, which had grown from 9x8mm in February 2018 to 10×9 by the end of July. I’m having that mole removed on 5 September. Has anyone ever encountered anything like this before? I can post pictures if anybody would find that helpful.

            Hello,

thank you for the reply – here are links to four photos. As you can see the moles are arranged in a V formation on my left side it’s the lowest and largest mole that I’m having removed

Hi Dan777, my fingers are crossed that they arnt Melanoma! But if so, it sounds as if your catching it early!!?? Way better then what i failed to do (lack of Melanoma knowledge) and let a mole grow (widen, darken, and eventually rising up like a crusty wart) for 8 years before getting it biopsied…stage 3b at diag…Mike
