My husband's SUV was slowly decreasing down to .08 & now after almost six months it's increased to 4.0 while his tumor in his lung has stayed stable. Should we be concerned with this uptick in the SUV? I am frantic. Things looked good for so long & now this. It's been 18 months that my husband has had a partial response on his clinical trial & no spread of the melanoma anywhere else. Can someone please give me some insight on what this may be & what we might do to change this direction if anything. This is just like a roller coaster ride & is enough to cause a sane person to go insane. Trying to stay a strong caregiver. Please help. Thanks

No telling, but concerning.
If everything else is stable, why not go after the one met in the lung with surgery? Several have done well "cherry picking" mets that are ammenable to surgery to become NED, or at least physically remove the active one and let the others behave on their own – IMHO.
