Hi all, just asking if anyone has experiences really bad nose bleeds – like it comes gushing/dripping out of my husband's nose, at least 2x a week now.  We saw oncologist yesterday, and his blood levels are all good………….but this morning I saw for myself and no one's nose should bleed like his did this morning.

He is on BRAF combo and it is working……anyone out there with nose bleed as side effect?

Thanks on ANY info anyone can share – thanks.

      Rita

I've had the issue while on treatment.  Probably not related to treatment.  See an ear, nose and throat specialist (non-cancer).  He/she may be able to cauterize the affected area right in the office.  If you have an issue before the appt, try Afrin nasal spray.

could also be from the dryness-try an over the counter saline gel to lubricate the nostrils and a nasal saline mist spray (a non medicated one).  This may help.  It worked for my husband after he had radiation.

Thanks, if someone else has it…..it kind of makes it "normal" , it happens when he blows his nose too…..soemtimes it just seems like a lot of blood..scary.  I am glad that the combo is working for you too….keep going, stay well.
