DH has had 3 Keytruda infusions, with #4 coming day after tomorrow, on Wednesday. In the meantime he has developed much fatigue and pretty severe pneumonitis. The docs want to go ahead with the infusion.

In the past 3 weeks DH has had to go on oxygen, prednisone, albuterol and ipatrophin nebulizers, albuterol puffer, low dose morphine for air hunger etc. He has significant edema in feet, ankles and legs, which is treated with 40 of lasix, TEDs, elevation and gentle fluid massage before we put on the TEDs. He's walking with a walker, and is much weaker, sleeping several times a day, and uses a wheelchair when we go out to the doctor, and so forth.

Any help or tips on managing symptoms, on what to expect from Keytruda and how long would be much appreciated. Celeste's thumbnail sketch is very good on Keytruda; I'm hoping for some personal experiences and tips as well. I especially appreciate the comment that one of the oncologist's jobs is to convince other docs treating the patient to encourage the patient to 'keep on keeping on'.

      TIA
