Well, my husband had his surgey and SLNB done yesturday. He is now home resting. The Surgeon removed tumor from his left posterior upper arm and removed 3 lymph nodes for biopsy. We will find out the reults and his follow up in one week. I want to say when they shot that dye aroound that tumor he was screaming in pain. He said that was one of the worst pains ever! anyway, Now we just wait for reults and pray for a good outcome!

Glad to hear things went well.  Waiting is hard, but the results, no matter what they are, are out of your control.  Extreme worry and anxiety will not change anything, but can damage your overall health and well being.  Find things that calm you and give you peace of mind   And yes, PRAY.  So glad to see you say that because that helped me the most.  Handing it over to Him and having some faith in His path for me.  Educating yourself is good, but it can be overwhelming.  Try not to "google" too much.

I do not have personal experience with the SLNB, but a friend of mine has and she said the pain was excruciating…so he is not the only one with that opinion.

Let us know the results and you are in my prayers.

I remember my SLNB well.  4 shots aroun the spot on my shoulder.  Each one felt worse than the one before. But thankfully it was over quickly.
