Feel fortunate to have passed 4 years on Vemurafenib. I've had it easy compared to most who post here.
My heart goes out to those who are struggling.

I agree Bruce. I'm glad you're doing well. Like you, I've had it pretty easy up to this point. Some new skin spots since the last surgery, that put me first on ipi, now on Keytruda. Several very small mets on one lung.
I'm not a praying type, but I follow the news, and watch and wait daily for that breakthrough that is going to help everyone, and put an end to this disease.

I've seen limited statistics that show 55% alive at 1 year,36% at 2 years, 26% at 3 years statistics done in July 2012.Taken from a small group of people on Zelboraf only…I think. Fortunately, there are a lot of new meds out there that seem to be helping people.
