Hello everyone, yesterday I had two moles removed. One is close to my ear and resembles a squamous cell carcinoma the second one looks mean and angry. It’s located on my abdomen. When the dermatologist looked at it he said it was definitely cause for concern and needed to come off. I now wait 2 weeks to get the pathology report back. It’s going to be a long 2 weeks. I asked him if he thought the mean and angry mole was a bad one and his response was that sometimes he’s wrong so he doesn’t want to say one way or another. He wants to wait for the pathology report. However, he feels that it’s something that is scary looking enough to get it off and feels as though we have caught it early. So nervous!

I can understand you being nervous, just the waiting can drive you nuts. Allot of us have been in your position and we do understand. But Keep in mind, it could come back as, ( not cancer) Done.
Mine went the other way:::::
I went to my Dermatologist Jan 8 2018 to have a small mole on my side that was starting to itch and raised a little, smaller than am eraser. and it was removed, saying it looked like a angry barnacle.
17 days later on Jan 25th 2018, I finally got a call The Dr Said, the results came back on your mole and its positive for Melanoma, its 2mm deep so you will need to see an oncologist surgeon to have it removed and they will also need to do a Syntral node biopsy. Do you have any questions??? I was in shock to say the least. I how have a Clear Plan to beat this thing.
I hope all go's well for you and will have you in my prayers.

I’m so sorry for your diagnosis. I’ve had enlarged lymph nodes removed before and was scared to death. Like to the point I didn’t want to have the surgery to remove them. I did, of course, and they were benign each time. Everything about this feels different. I’m a bit nervous but not scared. The dr didn’t try to make me believe it was most likely benign like the doctors who removed the lymph nodes did and this dermatologist is one of the most caring doctors on the planet. This feels very different. I am totally not wishing anything bad on myself. I don’t want there to be anything wrong. It’s just that it feels like my soul is saying that something is wrong. -

Well don’t beat yourself up or freak out to much as you will have your results soon. Keep positive. I know, easier said than done.
The first thing my wife said to me “we will get through this, no matter what the outcome is, WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS. And Our family will be Ok
We leave it to our faith
All the best my friend, stay positive

Thank you so much. 🙂 Faith definitely has a major part in healing, in my opinion.
